South Korea officially the Republic of Korea, is an

Independent state in East Asia. The capital is Seoul.
It’s the second largest in the world with over 51 million people.
According to scientists, the first people appeared on the territory of
modern Korea more than 70 thousand years ago.
The starting point for the existence of Korea as a country can be
called 2333 BC. This period is called Gojoseon.
