BEGAN OF EARTH HOUR
Earth hour began is one
city of a country on
Marth 31,2007,when 2.2
million people in Sydney,
Australia turned off their
lights for an hour to
demand action on
climate change.

2008
A year later,more than 370
cities in 35 countries turned
this initiative into a global
sustainability
movement,getting that
between 50 and 100
million people in lights out
for Earth hour 2008.

Landmarks
Landmarks such as
the Golden Gate
Bridge,Rome’s
Colosseum,Times
Square or the Christ
the Redeemer in Rio
de Janeiro joined
this call for climate
action for an hour
darkening.

The Earth is in danger
The Earth is our home. It
gives us everything: food,
clothes and houses. But our
Earth is in danger because
people don’t care of it. We
want to see blue seas,
green trees that are why we
must protect our Earth.
