Stereotyipes in Uzbekistan. Stereotypes related to women

1. STEREOTYIPES IN UZBEKISTAN

prepared by USMANKHANOVA AZIZA

2. OVERALL INFORMATION ABOUT STEREOTYPES IN OUR COUNTRY

Every single person, who lives in Uzbekistan at least for a year,
knows that people here attach too much importance to stereotypes.
Despite the fact that we live in 21th century majority of people have
very old views on life. Today I'm going to tell you about this issue
and offer some solutions to this kind of problems in our country

3. STEREOTYPES RELATED TO WOMEN

Every day from this kind of stereotypes suffer a huge number of women

4.

Stereotypes like women should stay at home, do housework and they should not
get higher education are definitely wrong. Everyone has the freedom to choose.
Every single woman doesn't owe anything to anyone, she has to choose whether
to work, study, or stay at home. This is her choice, and no one has the right to
forbid her something

5. Freedom in choosing clothes

Freedom on choosing clothes.
Nowadays it is one of the most
common issues. Everyone has
rights to choose clothes they
prefer and decide how they
want to look like.
Open or closed, it doesn't
matter. But for some reasons,
when girls wear what they like,
people in our country try to
condemn and criticize her. In
their point of view clothing
affects the people around and it
provokes molestation. However,
adequate people know that this
kind of fact is wrong
Freedom in
choosing clothes

6. Short socks among young people

The next stereotype I want to talk about is short socks. If
boys wear short socks society blame them in LGBT
propaganda. How can a person's clothing affect their
orientation? It's not normal that some ministers decide that
short socks are a penchant for homosexuality. Every single
person can choose what to wear theirselves and their clothing
way does not have any connection to orientation.

7. SCHOOL UNIFORM

Now, let's turn to the School uniform. According
to the statistics, at schools where it is not
necessary to wear strong school inform students
are happier and they are much more successful in
studying, than that students who must wear
school uniform. This kind of rule at school
doesn't affect in good way for pupils education,
but ministry of education think that everyone
must wear the same uniform.
And also one of the most useless rule in our
school is that boys shouldn't have long hair, no
longer than 2 cm. Our ministry of education must
understand that Uniform and length of hair have
no effects on pupils' education

8. MARRYING CONSCIOUSLY

The next stereotype that uzbek
society always follow is the age of
marrying girls. Starting a family
is something very serious and
important. After creating a family
the person must be ready to do
that because it is too huge
responsiblity. Sometimes despite
the fact that It's too early to
marry girl, her parents force her
to do that and ignore her opinion.
This kind of behavior of parents
caused by the stereotype that girl
should get married sharply after
age of 18. The girl herself should
be ready for this serious step,
parents should not force

9.

In conclusion, I want to point out that everyone in our country can come
across with this kind of problems. So, older and younger generations should
try to be compromised relationships. Older generation have to try
understand that having modern point of view is kinda normal thing
