Now the whole world is in a difficult situation. People’s activity has decreased because of
the quarantine. Sitting at home is difficult to relax and have a rest especially for us, children.
We want to know everything around. We would like to communicate and explore the world.
But we can’t.
To help us, some museums arrange online excursions. You can walk virtually using Google
panoramas. It’s a must! More than that, some services have opened free access in the
Internet, so you can find a lot of useful information, for example, different books to read.
Also, it is quite possible to do sports at home. Our school provides us with morning
exercises due to the Internet link from our PE teachers. As for fast food, now all of the fast
food restaurants continue to serve customers and deliver them dishes for lower price.

3.

All in all, everything is relatively interchangeable, except live communication. I think
that after this situation, people will appreciate it more, since they haven't seen each
other for a long time. Also, if you are optimistic about this situation, it can be
compared with a new social experiment.

Now we live in the world of high technologies. We all have computers at home, call
each other by the mobile phones and watch TV using the satellite dish. Modern
technologies help us work remotely and continue to learn in the difficult times of
quarantine.

5.

As for me, I also stay at home, but even in such circumstances l can study, do my
homework with the help of the computer. I send my essays to my teacher for
checking despite the fact that we are far from each other. Every day I call my
brother and we play computer games or think about the future. I can communicate
with many people who live on the other side of the world. We share the latest news
and other information that we have heard on TV and other news resources. We
discuss issues related to the virus COVID-19.
This quarantine has opened up new possibilities for me and my friends. I greet the
world, coming into my house.

Today we are all at home because of the COVID-19. But we don't stop
communicating. Thanks to technologies, we can communicate each other easily.
More, over we study at school but now to get to the lesson, you do not need to
leave the house. You just need to follow the link on your gadget. And to contact to
your friends, you can call, video, or just type short message.
During the quarantine, we had a lot of free time. And we can do things that we
didn't have time for before. For example, do sports or hobbies. Also we can get rid
of bad habits. For example, stop eating fast food. I believe, the COVID-19 will help
us to be more thoughtful about ourselves.

The quarantine has closed me in a small apartment… my house! So, I study at
home, communicate with my friends at home, visit courses in mathematics also at
home! To be honest, I am not happy about it. I miss my school and my classmates
very much. I want to run along the park with my dog and simply take a ride on a
bus… But still it’s not as bad as it might seem. There are a lot of things to do while
stuck inside due to a pandemic. Here are some suggestions to help make you time
quarantined as interesting and productive as possible.

8.

1. Start a blog. Sure, it can be about the COVID-19, but it could also be about a
specific interest from chess to cheese.
2. Watch all the really long movies you’ve avoided until now.
3. Learn calligraphy or other expressive skill. YouTube can help!
4. Interview your grandparents (over the phone, of course) and save the audio.
You can create an audio story or book with that file.
5. Write a book with your family. Pick a character and each member writes a
chapter about their adventures. Read aloud to each other.
How many interesting things we can do! It’s great! It gives us a hope that we will
get through this bad period of our life! As for my family we have started the
chronicle of our family.

Today I remember one episode in my everyday life before the epidemic. After my
dad had been on a business trip in a nearby city he went to McDonalds there and
bought some fast food for our lunch.
I like McDonalds and my parents usually allow me to go there once a week. I think
it is international food and in many countries of the world we can eat the same fast
food and feel ourselves as we are at home.

10.

But now my life is divided into two parts: before the COVID-19 and now. I haven’t
eaten fast food for about two months because my family and I have been on
quarantine since March, 16. So we are in our country house and can’t go to any
restaurant. My mother cooks very healthy food for us, but I dream about a
cheeseburger.
I hope one day my dream will come true and the whole world will come to my
house again!

Everyone lives in a house. That is why the owner always takes care of this property,
makes a lot of efforts to save it. Our planet is the house of everything and
everybody too. And our task is to keep it for the future. If people pollute water
sources or use water irrationally, there will soon be nothing to drink. In addition,
fish and other aquatic inhabitants will die. Everyone knows that plants are not only
food and raw materials for various goods, but also the planet’s lungs. Without
oxygen, living organisms cannot exist.

12.

All of us have read such words. But what can I see now?
Most of people stay at home because of the epidemic. Factories with harmful
industry don’t work and their fuels don’t pollute the air. Streets are empty of
people, cars etc. It is like countries have come together for a global project to
reduce the negative impact on the planet. COVID-19 helps the Earth. Is it the only
way to save our common home - our planet?
