professions for others: a chef may enjoy
playing computer games as a hobby,
while a professional game tester might
enjoy cooking. Generally speaking, the
person who does something for fun, not
remuneration, is called an amateur (or
hobbyist), as distinct from a
professional.

The
aquatic sport of swimming is based on
the human act of swimming , that is,
locomotion in water by self propulsion, with
the goal of completing a given distance in
the shortest amount of time. There are also
swimming competitions for endurance or
precedence rather than speed, such as
crossing the English Channel or some other
stretch of open water. Swimming is
distinguished from other aquatic sports (such
as diving , synchronized swimming, and
water polo ) that involve swimming but the
goal is neither speed nor endurance.

Sport is probably as old as humanity itself. All over the world, people of different ages
are very fond of sports and games. Firstly, sport helps people to become strong and
develop physically. Secondly, it makes them more organized and disciplined in their
daily activities. Plus, sports keeps your mind healthy. Sport helps people maintain
good health. We all need to train. Regular exercise gives you more energy. Exercise
helps you feel and look better. The best exercises are: walking, jogging or swimming.
Among the popular sports in our country are football, basketball, swimming, volleyball,
ice hockey, tennis, gymnastics, figure skating. A person can choose sports and games
for any season, for any taste.
As for me, I love sports. I like swimming, basketball, football, but my favorite sport is
football. Of course, I buy sports magazines and newspapers, for example: "Sportexpress" or "World Football". I like football in our country because I live in Kazakhstan,
but I like the Spanish Premier League more. However, I think that our football is no
less strict and beautiful. By the way, football is a team sport. This is a sport played by
two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. The goal of the game is to score by
driving the ball into the opponent's goal. In general play, goalkeepers are the only
players allowed to touch the ball with their hands or arms, while fielders usually use
their feet to kick the ball into position, sometimes using their torso or head to intercept
the ball in the air. The team that scored the most goals by the end of the match wins. If
the score is tied at the end of the game, either a draw is declared, or the game goes
into extra time or a penalty shootout, depending on the format of the competition. I like
this game because it is beautiful, interesting and very fast. Perhaps that's why football
is so popular these days.
Speaking about whether I will watch some sports competitions on TV or participate in
them, I would say that watching them on TV is fine, but personally, of course, I would
try to take part in some sports events, as it is much more fun than just watching. In
addition, it will help me keep my body in good shape, keep myself fit and energize.

Football is the most popular and spectacular sport in
the world, everyone has played football or kicked a
ball at least once in their life. So I , being a boy ,
spent days and nights playing football with the guys
in the yard . I fell in love with this sport very much
and one day I watched the Brazil-Argentina match on
TV with my father and caught fire with the dream of
becoming a professional football player. I trained
hard every day and went to the dream . I was noticed
and invited to the best football academy in the
country. I gave most of my teenage life to the ball
and boots and I will never regret it. Now I remember
those times with pride and am proud of myself that I
was able to become a professional from a simple
rural guy, though not for a long time.
