Wear a Christmas Jumper
Find your Christmas jumper and wear it!
If you don’t have a Christmas jumper, don’t be sad.
There’s lots of things you could do:
• Ask a friend or family member if you could borrow one from them
• Buy a pre-loved jumper from a Save the Children charity shop
• Swap one with a friend or, even better, organise a whole school
Christmas jumper swap event
Think
about it
We all have clothes that we have grown out of. Would you like
to swap your old favourite Christmas jumper for someone else’s
that fits you perfectly?

8.

Decorate a Christmas Jumper
If you don’t have a Christmas jumper, make an everyday jumper into a
Christmas jumper!
• Find a plain jumper at home.
• Design your Christmas jumper
using this special design sheet.
Think
about it
You don’t have to design and decorate a jumper each. Could
your school have a competition where each class decorates a
jumper together and the best wins a prize?

9.

Organise an Event
To help raise money for Save the Children, you could:
• Make a poster to tell everyone in your school about your Christmas
jumper day.
• Hold a whole school Christmas jumper swap before your Christmas
jumper day.

10.

Organise an Event
• Have a fashion show of Christmas
jumpers. Children could all model their
amazing home-decorated jumpers.
• Set up a whole school Christmas jumper
gallery, with displays of the Christmas
jumper designs and the superb whole class
Christmas jumpers.
Tell your whole school about your events with this
fantastic editable poster!
Discuss it
Have a look at the Save the Children website to see other
ways to get involved.
