My favourite animal
My favourite wild
animal is a lynx. It
is of red or brown
colours. It has got
thick fur and short
legs with sharp
claws.

It hunts hares,
squirrels and
small birds. It
can eat a hare
every 2 or 4
days.

The lynx can
jump and climb
the trees. It has
a perfect
eyesight and
hearing.

Interesting Information
The lynx has tufted ears: they
are like antennas and help
hear any subtle sounds.
On its paws the lynx
has special edges
that let it walk on
the snow.
