Gennady Mikhailovich Garbuk

Gennady Mikhailovich Garbuk was born in 1934. He is the
Peoples Artist of the Byelorussian SSR. His father was a gypsy.
From the first grade he attended a dance club. Even the he was
fond of theater and cinema.

In his youth he dreamed of becoming a pop singer, but
in their village there were no music schools. In high
school hi got a job in a district cinematography to write
posters for films.

Graduated from the Belarusian Theater and Art
Institute. In 1958 he worked at the Y. Kupala Theater.

He played in such famous Soviet films as "Russian
People", "Mother-in-law", "Mysterious Heir". He also
popular in the film "Brest Fortress". Awarded the USSR
State Prize for the role of Anna's father in the film"
People in the Swamp ".

5.

Gennady Gorbuk died on February 7,
2018 in Minsk at the age of 84.
