INTODUCTION:
A mother is the person who can
take the place of all others, but
whose place no one can take.
Mother’s day is a celebration
honoring the mother of the
family. It is celebrated on various
days in many countries.

The modern holiday of mother’s
day was first celebrated in 1908,
when Anna Jarvis held a
memorial for her mother. Her
campaign to make mother’s day
a recognized holiday in the
united states began in 1905 the
year of her mother’s death

Different countries celebrate
mother’s day on various days
of the year, some in may and
others in march. In the USA it
is celebrated on the second
sunday in may, While in
Lebanon and most Arab
countries is in march 21.

TRADITIONS
While celebrating mother’s day
world wide, traditions vary
depending on the country. In
Lebanon mother’s day gifts are:
flowers, cake, jewelry, and
clothes. Also family can
organize an outing for all
members to a restaurant.

People have different opinions
toward mother’s day. Some
are with and see it a good
chance to appreciate their
mother’s effort, while others
see that it is not important
and we must take care by our
moms all the days.

WITH MOTHER’S DAY:
A good mother feeds you, protects you ,
loves you, helps you connect with others
and encourages you to become your
best self. She is a hero which defends
and protects you, provides intelligence
and wisdom, and a morals model.
Some times a word can create other’s
happiness, so a whole day will make her
happy and forget her tiredness.

Mother is the most precious
gift for every person on the
earth. The day doesn’t matter
to make mother happy, if
people are available for their
mothers then every day should
be mother’s day.
