The Intern

1.

2.

«The Intern» is not about my favorite…
but
This about something makes you think.
Think about our past, present, future.
Think about the older generation.
Think about what your heart wants and
what would be better for everyone.

3.

Furthermore, it's really a matter of inspiration.
I was looking for some inspiration for working hard
for success, when happened upon this movie that
inspired me to work hard.
We all want to know everything about some of the
most successful people in this world. We want to
know about their starting and journey and the
moment that they realized that this is the success
and they have achieved it. There’s a thrill in knowing
these small things from a successful person’s life and
nothing can replace it.

Hathaway plays Jules Ostin, a high-powered executive
at a new fashion website,

Taglines: Experience never gets old.
Many people used to
think that stories about
pensioners
are
a
crumbling house in the
village with yellowed,
leaky wallpaper or
pigeon gatherings on
benches
at
the
entrance.
This film will show that
old people can really
surprise and inspire.

9.

A retired 70-year-old widower, Ben (Robert De Niro), is bored with retired
life. He applies to a be a senior Intern at an online fashion retailer and gets
the position in a team that's young enough to be Ben's grandchild.
The
founder
of
the
company
is
Jules
Ostin
(Anne
Hathaway),
a tireless, driven, demanding, dynamic workaholic. She rides a roller scooter
right in the workroom to save time.
But Jules believes he has a
nominal role - she doesn't
intend to give him work and it
is
just
window
dressing.
However, Ben is going to be
quite useful and, more than
that, a source of support and
wisdom.

Initially frozen out by her,
Ben slowly wins over coworkers
with
his
congeniality and gets into
Jules's good graces. And
becomes
something of a father
figure to several of the
younger
workers:
by offering advice about
issues such as love, clothes
sense
and
work/life
balance.
He provides another with a
place
to
stay
at
his brownstone after his
colleague is evicted by his
parents.

12.

Ben heads to work one day extra early to organize a messy
desk that Jules had complained about previously.

13.

He develops a romantic relationship with the in-house massage therapist, Fiona

14.

• After work, Ben notices Jules's chauffeur drinking,
convinces the driver to leave and drives Jules home
himself, a role he retains in days to come.
• Ben eventually reveals that he once worked in the very
same building where About The Fit is now based.

15.

Ben becomes very committed to Jules, and even breaks into the
house of Jules' mother to delete an embarrassingly scathing email,
narrowly
avoiding
getting
arrested
in
the
process.
Ben also gets to know Jules' family. Her husband, Matt, gave up
his own career to be a stay-at-home dad to their daughter, Paige,
when About The Fit started to take off.

18.

There is no hint of romance between the two
characters. It is more of a friendship and
professional relationship, which turns out to
benefit both of them.

19.

Meanwhile, Jules is under pressure to give up her post of
CEO to someone outside of the company as her investors
feel that she is unable to cope with the workload, having
grown About The Fit from a startup founded in her kitchen
to a 220-employee juggernaut in only eighteen
months. Believing it will give her more time at home with
her family, Jules is willing to consider the proposal.

20.

Once, Ben discovers SOME SECRET about Jules’s husband.

21.

The film is incredibly touching and kind: the excitement of a cute
grandfather going to work on the first day, aches somewhere inside,
and the small failures and difficulties of the character De Niro in
getting acquainted with the computer and the Internet will cause a
smile to those who at least once helped their grandparents to
understand the mobile phone. I think, he is my favorite character
here.
The slot simply glows with respect for the wisdom and fortitude of
older people who are trying not just to live out their life, but to
keep up with it, keep up with their children and grandchildren, and be
not only an understanding and tactful teacher for young people, but
also their diligent student.
At the same time, the film does not forget to go through such painful
topics as women-careerists and men-housewives, dependence on
gadgets and inability to communicate in real life.
The brilliant acting Duo of Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway,
sincere and warm humor, endless love of life and family comfort —
a great set for home viewing and raising the mood.

22.

So, enjoy the show!
