Can you remember the rules?Possessive adjectives: Come before a noun to show who something belongs to:
It’s my book.
Possessive pronouns:
Can take the place of the possessive adjective and noun:
The book is mine.
To ask about possession use the question word, Whose:
Whose book is that?
To talk about possession, add ’s to the end of a name/noun:
It’s Laura’s book.
If the name/noun ends in an ‘s’, add the apostrophe (’) after the ‘s’:
It’s James’ book.
