The weather also begins to get colder & windy
and many plants stop making food.

We start to wear long sleeved shirts, long pants, and
sweaters.

The leaves change from green to red, orange, yellow
or brown before falling.
The leaves start to fall
off of the trees.
That is why autumn is also
called the fall.

and the nights are getting cool.
October:
October leaves are lovely,
They rustle when I run,
Sometimes I make a heap
And jump in them for fun.
November:
Now the autumn days are gone
Frost is sparkling on the lawn,
Windows winking cheerful lights
Warm the cold November nights.
