ON MY WINTER VACATION I…
- To celebrate the New Year, Christmas; to see (V2) the
New Year in (at home, outside, with… listen to the
speech of the President, a chime of bells, to make
wishes…), to have (V2) fun;
- to put (V2) up a New Year tree and decorate it with
colourful toys, glass balls, tinsel; draw (V2) the NY
cards;
- to cook (eat(V2) a lot of delicious dishes (tasty food);
- put (V2) presents under the New Year tree; to buy
(V2), give (V2), get (V2) presents.
- The atmosphere of the holiday is fantastic.
- We celebrate the beginning of the New Year, leave
everything bad behind, make New Year resolutions and
hope for the best, set off fireworks.
