2. Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is the
Queen’s official residence.

the ceremony of changing
the Guard. This ceremony
you can see from April to
August !

It is situated on the
bank of the Thames.
Palace of
Westminster is the
seat of the British
Parliament. Also it’s
one of the most
beautiful building
in London. There
are 1, 100 rooms ,
100 staircases and 11
courtyards in the
palace.

4. Westminster Abbey

Westminster
Abbey is a Gothic
church in
Westminster. All
kings and queens
were crowned
here. Also the
kings and
the queens and
some famous
people were
buried.

5. Royal Opera House

Royal Opera House is
home of the London
stage of the Royal Opera
and Royal Ballet. After
reconstruction it is the
largest theatre of opera
and ballet in London.
Here you can see
famous tenors and ballet
dancers. The tickets are
very expensive.

famous detective

is situated at Baker

are famous things in
this house : famous
chair , equipment
for experiments.

7. Highgate Cemetery

Highgate
Cemetery is
located in the
north of London.
There are graves
of famous
writers, artists
and politicians :
Karl Marks,
Alexander
Litvinenko.

8. Trafalgar Square

London has got
many fine
squares. Some of
them are quiet,
others are busy
like Trafalgar
Square. Trafalgar
Square is the
central square of
the city. It is the
good place for
meeting.
