The Federal Government is
the executive branch of
power
in
Russia.
It
consists of The Chairman
of the government and the
ministers.

5. Functions

The Federal Government
disposes of property of state,
it has full power to enforce
legality rights and freedom of
all citizens. According to the
Constitution, the Federal
Government makes decrees
and follows it’s fulfillment.

6. The Election of the Government

The
Chairman
of
the
Government is elected by the
President of Russia with
agreement of the Duma. The
ministers are elected by the
President with agreement of
the Chairman. There are 32
ministers in our Government.

7. The Federal Assembly

The Federal Assembly
represents the Legislative
branch of power. It
consists of two chambers:
the Federation Council
and the Duma.

8. The Duma

The Federation Council
-The Duma consists of 450 deputies.
-The Federation Council consist of 170
deputies.
-Half is elected by people and the
other part consists of deputies
appointed by their parties
-Elected for 5 years
-Two representatives are nominated
from every subject of Russia.
-Hasn’t fixed period of functioning.
