To go camping – ходить в поход
To go fishing – рыбачить
To go boating – плавать на лодке
To make a campfire and cook food on it – разводить костёр (в
лагере) и готовить еду на нем
To play the guitar, sing songs and tell funny stories round the
campfire – играть на гитаре, петь песни и рассказывать
забавные истории у костра
To gather berries and mushrooms – собирать ягоды и грибы
To swim and lie in the sun – плавать и загорать
To travel abroad; to another city – путешествовать
заграницей, в другой город
To see places of interest – посещать интересные места
To take pictures of… - делать фото чего-то
To be lucky with the weather – повезло с погодой

5. Заключение (the ending)

I should say that I had a fantastic
rest this summer. We were lucky with
the weather and I liked every day of
my holidays. Now I am ready to learn
and work hard at school again.
