3. What does ‘Fantasy’ mean?
WHAT DOES ‘FANTASY’ MEAN?The term «fantasy» is used to describe the specific genre
that uses magic and uses other supernatural phenomena's
as the main subject or the key element of the basic plotline.
Many films within this genre take place in imaginary
worlds where magic and magical creatures are common.

Fantasy is generally distinguished from the genres ofscience fiction and horror although there is a great overlap
of these three genres.

TYPICAL FEATURES:Usually low lighting to create a very spooky atmosphere.
This also makes everything mysterious and unknowing
Mythical creatures or monsters, for example Vampires,
Dragons, Goblins.
The trailers aren't very revealing, and don’t give away much
of the plotline like trailers in other genres do. This intrigues
the cinema aficionados to watch the film
Unexpected and fast-paced actions which leave the deep and
lasting impression on the audience.
