new stadium in Kazan, Russia.

Once completed in 2013 it will
host football matches, especially
the Russian Premier League side Rubin
Kazan's home game

The stadium hosted
the 2013 Summer
Universiade football
competition and will host
the 2017 FIFA
Confederations
Cup and 2018 FIFA World
Cup.

It's capacity will be around 45,105. It will
replace Central Stadium as Kazan's main football
stadium.

The architectural concept has been designed
by Populous; according to lead designer
Damon Lavelle, the stadium is a unique
response to the local culture and place.
