There was once a herd of elephants. They were all the same
colour. They were all grey.

Then there was Elmer. Elmer was different. Elmer was multicoloured! He was red and blue and pink and green and
purple and white and black and yellow and orange. He was
lots of different colours!

All the elephants loved Elmer. They played games.
Elmer made the elephants happy.

One day Elmer went for a walk in the jungle. All the animals
said, “Hello Elmer!” Elmer said “Hello!” back.

Elmer found a tree with grey berries. He had an idea!

Elmer didn’t like being
different. He wanted to be
grey like all the other
elephants. He picked the grey
berries and painted himself

Now Elmer wasn´t multi-coloured. Elmer was grey just like all
the other elephants. He walked through the jungle. None of
the animals recognised him. They said “Hello ELEPHANT”!

The elephants couldn´t see Elmer because Elmer was grey.

It started raining. The rain washed the grey away. The elephants
laughed. “It’s ELMER!”, they shouted.
