He was born on the twentysixth of April 1564. When he
was at the age of 7, he went
to local grammar school. Girls
didn*t go to school. He went
to school at six o*clock. Then
they prayed and then they
studied Latin. After that they
had a rest two hours for
dinner and then they studied to
five o*clock.

He
was probably
educated at the
King Edward IV
Grammar School
in Stratford,
where he learned
Latin and a little
Greek and read
the Roman
playwright.

Theatre «Globe»
Shakespeare was one of the owners this
theatre. The Globe was built in
1599 using timber from an earlier
theatre. Globe represented the
typical building of roman
amphitheatre of the beginning
of 17 century. The Globe was
the oval room. The Globe
fenced with walls and he was
without a roof. He burnt in
1613.

At the age of 18, Shakespeare married the 26-yearold Anne Hathaway. After six month his daughter
was born in 1583. She called Susanna. Twins,
son Hamnet and daughter Judith, followed almost
two years later and were born 2 February
1585.[19] Hamnet died of unknown causes at the age
of 11 and was buried 11 August 1596.[20]

23 April 1616[59] and
was survived by his
wife and two
daughters.
Shakespeare was
buried in
the chancel of
the Holy Trinity
Church two days after
his death.
