Play in the house.
The cat is red,
the mouse is grey.
They like to play.

He catches the mouse and takes her tail.
- Please, Cat, give me my tail.
- No! Go to the cow and bring me some milk.

The mouse jumps, the mouse runs,
She comes to the cow and begins:
- Please, Cow, give me some milk.
- No! Go to the farmer and bring me some milk.

The mouse jumps, the mouse runs,
She comes to the farmer and begins:
- Please, Farmer, give me some hay.
- No! Go to the hen and bring me some eggs.

The mouse jumps, the mouse runs,
She comes to the hen and begins:
- Please, Hen, give me some eggs.
- No! Go to the baker and bring me some bread.

The mouse jumps, the mouse runs,
She comes to the baker and begins:
- Please, Baker, give me some bread.
- No! Go to the miller and bring me some flour.

- Please, Miller, give me some flour.
- Yes! Take the flour but don’t take my cheese.

• The mouse takes the flour and goes to the baker. The
baker gives her some bread, the hen gives her some
eggs, the farmer gives her some hay, the cow gives
her some milk. The cat drinks the milk and gives the
mouse her tail. The mouse is happy.
