Kazkommertsbank (QAZKOM, KASE: KKGB, LSE: KKB)
is the largest commercial bank in Kazakhstan. According
to the regulator of the Kazakhstan financial services
market (FSA) on September 1, 2014, it ranks first in
terms of equity, loan portfolio and the second (after
Halyk Bank) - in terms of assets.

banking sector (retail and corporate), Kazkom has
subsidiaries working in the areas of financial asset
management, insurance and brokerage services. Kazkom
also has subsidiary banks in the Russian Federation,
Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Kazkom + BTA Bank On July 4, 2014, Kazkommertsbank
completed the acquisition of BTA Bank shares. [6] In fact,
this means full integration of the two banks. Integration
was carried out to strengthen and consolidate the banking
system of Kazakhstan, and return to the state treasury part
of the funds that the government spent to save BTA during
the global financial crisis. [7] In this regard, the sale of BTA
Bank by the state is one of the final stages in the
implementation of instructions of the President of the
Republic of Kazakhstan on the withdrawal of the state
from the shareholders of second-tier banks.

implement the bank's strategy as a socially responsible financial
institution. In 2008, Kazkommertsbank together with the
charitable foundation "Kus Zholy" and Visa company initiates and
proceeds to issue charitable cards "Guardian Angel". Payments for
the annual maintenance of the card come not to the bank's
income, but to the Kus Zholy charity fund for the purchase of
medical equipment, which the maternity departments of rural
district hospitals are in urgent need.
