Market size
Google’s Glass Project exposed a huge market interest for
this kind of products
A market research we made among 1,000 US citizens
showed that one out of four was interested
In May 2013 Credit Suisse released a report forecasting a
$30B / $50B market for wearable technology in the next
two / three years. Sport should prevail in unit terms, and
health/medical device in value.

Patent Overview
The purpose of the patent for the optical system is to display
information, icons, picture directly on the lens with a transparent
background, in other words through the same lens you can see the
reality around you and the digital information received from external
source in overlay mode.
In practice, the purpose of our patent is to allow the user to see the
messages near the center of the visual field: while I'm talking with
you, the message will not cover your face, but it will appear to me on
your shoulder.
In comparison, other solutions will show the same message on your
shoes or on the ceiling, because their technology is not transparent
they need to push it aside otherwise it will cover your view. Looking
frequently at the ceiling or at the floor is very tedious, people who
have tried those solution often take them off after a minute.

Next Steps
Development and Industrialization
•Finalize the specifications and build the prototype
•Plan and launch the industrialization
•Produce pre-series (few hundreds)
•Plan by priority other products evolution for the general market (camera,
earphone, binocular, prescription lenses, Windows, ...) and those for specific
niches (medical, museums, motorbike helmets, ...)
Partnerships
•Show the prototype to the potential industrial partners, mainly in the eyewear and
telecommunications sectors, and seek one or more partnerships
•Close minor agreements related to other sectors and markets
Funding
•Crowdfunding , EU contribution, pre-sales
•External investment only tied to strategic partnerships
App Market
•Define the best strategy to maximize the development of apps; developer
competitions, support to niches, open platform, ...
•Study how to leverage the apps in order to sell the product, and vice-versa
