Good evening, everyone! My name is Valeria. Before I
start, a quick note: please save your questions for the
end. I hope there won't be too many, because my

2. Where I Work

So, first things first. I work at EVRAZ Steel Building, and
I've been with the company for five years now. Basically,
I spend my days turning drawings into buildings, and
occasionally buildings into lessons learned.

3. My Path So Far

Now, a bit about my background. Firstly, I've spent five years
at EVRAZ Steel Building, growing from Project Manager to
my current role. Then, this year I was promoted to Chief
Project Engineer, which, frankly, is both exciting and a little
terrifying. However, it's the good kind of terrifying: more
responsibility, more decisions, and slightly less sleep.

4. Why Am I Here?

So, why am I here? Good question, and here's my answer.
Firstly, I chose Project Management in Construction
because it matches exactly what I do every day. Therefore,
it's a natural fit for my role. Besides, as we all know, society
still believes a bachelor's degree is "not quite" a full higher
education. So, to be honest, I'm here mainly for the
diploma. In short, I'm here to back up five years of practice
with a proper document. And honestly, I'd rather say it out
loud than pretend otherwise.

6. My Plans

Finally, my plans. After graduation, I intend to stay in the
same position, but hopefully with more confidence and a
stronger theoretical foundation. In the long run, I want to
grow within the company, and this program is the right step
in that direction.
