4. Tokyo Imperial Palace

The Tokyo Imperial Palace is the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan.
It is a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda ward of Tokyo and contains
buildings including the main palace Kyūden, the private residences of the
Imperial Family, an archive, museums and administrative offices. It can be
visited twice a year

6. Tokyo Tower

Hisakichi Maeda, founder and president of Nippon Denpatō, the tower's owner
and operator, originally planned for the tower to be taller than the Empire
State Building, which at 381 meters was the highest structure in the world.
However, the plan fell through because of the lack of both funds and
materials. Looking to the Western world for inspiration, Naitō based his
design on the Eiffel Tower in Paris

8. Yasukuni Shrine

The shrine was established in 1869, in the wake of the Boshin War, in order to
honor the souls of those who died fighting for the Emperor. It initially served
as the "apex" of a network of similar shrines throughout Japan that had
originally been established for the souls of various feudal lords' retainers, and
which continued to enshrine local individuals who died in the Emperor's
service.Мейдзи

Akihabara gained the nickname Akihabara Electric shortly after World War II
for being a major shopping center for household electronic goods and the
post-war black market. Nowadays, Akihabara is considered by many to be an
otaku cultural center and a shopping district for video games, anime, manga,
and computer goods. Icons from popular anime and manga are displayed
prominently on the shops in the area, and numerous maid cafés are found
throughout the district
