3. This festival takes place every summer at 22 of July, in Delhi

4. Visitors can taste different fruits for free. People also buy mango sweets, juices and souvenirs.

5. The most popular event is the mango-eating. You can try to eat as many mangoes as possible in a short time to win prizes.

6. How it all started:

The International Mango Festival was created in 1987. The
main goal was to show the world how important this fruit is for
Indian culture.

7. Art and craft activities

The festival is not only about eating. Artists come here to sell
beautiful handmade things.

Mangoes first started being grown 4,000 years ago in India

Except India, National Mango Day is also celebrated in the
