Summary of the Week
This week, we focused on how different spelling patterns like /igh/, /ie/, and /y/ make
the same long "i" sound. The children are practicing these in their workbooks to help
them become better, more confident readers.
We also continued learning about Community Helpers. The students are finding out
what different workers do and where they work, which helps them connect English to
the real world.
To make learning more fun, we are playing games like Word Chain. These activities are
great because they help the children learn how to play together and communicate with
each other using English
