Goal
• To prove, using examples from
various fields (career, travel, and
culture), that learning Spanish is a
promising investment of time,
despite the dominance of English
in the world.
Tasks
• To collect and systematize objective data on the
global status of the Spanish language, distribution and
areas of use.
• To study the subjective perception of the importance
of learning English and Spanish among students at our
school (a linguistic school with advanced Spanish
studies).
• Conduct a survey among students of different ages
to identify their motivation to learn languages,
preferences and arguments.
• Interview teachers to get an expert assessment of
the prospects of learning foreign languages.
