A Great Holiday
The 9th of May is a very important holiday in Russia. We celebrate Victory Day. It
is a day of peace.
9 мая - очень важный праздник в России. Мы празднуем День Победы. Это день мира.
Our History
The Great Patriotic War began in 1941. It finished in 1945. It was a very hard time.
Our country won.

Our Veterans
We say "Thank you" to our veterans. They fought for our life and freedom. We give
them red flowers.
Мы говорим "Спасибо" нашим ветеранам. Они сражались за нашу жизнь и свободу. Мы дарим им красные цветы.
The Military Parade
Every year there is a big parade in Moscow. We can see soldiers and tanks on Red
Square. We watch it on TV.
Каждый год в Москве проходит большой парад. Мы можем видеть солдат и танки на Красной площади. Мы смотрим его по
телевизору.

Immortal Regiment
Many people go to the streets. They carry photos of their grandfathers. It is the
"Immortal Regiment". Thank you for your attention!
