BRIEF HISTORY OF JSC TEKHNIKA SVYAZI
1873 – A wire and nail factory was established in
the Baran estate, Orsha district, Mogilev province.
1918 – The factory was nationalized
1921 – The factory was named "Krasny
Oktyabr" (Red October). It continued to
produce consumer goods (nails, hammers, etc.)

1941 – After the outbreak of the Great Patriotic
War, the factory equipment was evacuated to
Blagoveshchensk, Bashkir ASSR. In July 1941, the
town of Baran was occupied by fascist troops.
1947 – After returning, the factory began
producing sewing machines.
1952 – The Krasny Oktyabr factory transitioned
to manufacturing radio engineering products:
"Tern" and "Klyon" relays, and the "Iskra" radio
receiver.

1967 – The Krasny Oktyabr factory began
manufacturing hybrid microcircuits for the R-855UM compact radio stations.
1984 – The factory transitioned to radio
station production and began manufacturing
construction hardware.
1984–1996 – The following radio stations were
produced: Viola, R-392, R-148, R-838, Seiner,
Prichal, Reya, R-861, R-855A, R-855A1-K, ViolaAD, Rosa, Kair-M1, and the Rosa-T trunking
radio communication system.

1991 – The Krasny Oktyabr factory was renamed State
Industrial Firm "Lyos" (GPF "Lyos"). In Russian,
"Lyos" means "fate".
1997 – The Lyos firm was transferred under
the authority of the Ministry of
Communications of the Republic of Belarus.
2000 – The Lyos firm was renamed Republican
Production Unitary Enterprise "Lyos" (RPUE
"Lyos").
2006 – The enterprise was transferred under
the authority of the State Military-Industrial
Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

2009 – RPUE "Lyos" was transformed into Open Joint
Stock Company "Lyos".
May 2011 – JSC "Lyos" was renamed JSC
"Tekhnika Svyazi" (Communications
Equipment).
Products manufactured by JSC "Lyos":
telecommunications equipment, postal and cross-connect
equipment, VHF radio stations and communication
systems, hardware products, construction fittings.
Products of JSC Tekhnika Svyazi continue
and expand upon this legacy.

The enterprise's production structure enables a full-cycle manufacturing process,
from development and design to the release of the finished product.
Production of mobile communications equipment.
Production of radio communication equipment (radio stations, routers,
switches, modems).
Production of custom equipment based on our own documentation or
customer drawings.
Production of electronic modules, surface-mount assembly with stencil-free
printing capability, and through-hole assembly.
Production of cables, harnesses, and wound products (coils, transformers).
Design and manufacture of tooling and production equipment.
Production of plastic, thermoset, and rubber parts.

PRODUCTION STRUCTURE
The enterprise's production structure enables a full-cycle manufacturing process,
from development and design to the release of the finished product.
Precision machining of parts: turning, milling, stamping, punch pressing,
heat treatment, and finishing operations, including 5-axis machining.
Chemical and electroplating (anodizing, zinc plating, nickel plating,
phosphating, cadmium plating), and painting with liquid and powder
(polyester) paints.
Production of telecommunication infrastructure equipment (cabinets, racks,
optical distribution frames, cable locators, marker posts).
Testing services in an accredited laboratory (climatic and mechanical).
Production of medical masks and personal protective equipment.
Production of printed and sewn products.
