History
The Tver Museum Mode of Life opened its doors to visitors in 1970. The first exhibition was
opened in an old merchant's house. At the beginning of the 18th century, on the site of the
current stone building, there was a wooden house belonging to the Arefyev family, where,
according to legend, Peter the Great stayed.

Exhibitions
There are three exhibitions in the
museum now. Their main theme
is town culture of the 18th–19th
centuries.

Region."

"Visiting the Tver Merchants"

"Russian samovars. Tver tea party."

Price
The ticket price is 150 rubles; for
students and pensioners it is 50
rubles; children under 16 can enter
the museum for free.
