Objective - To develop a concept for a mobile application for
automatic notification of emergency services in the event of an
accident.
Tasks:
1. Analyze statistics and causes of road accidents in Russia.
2. Identify the main problems and needs of road accident participants
at the scene.
3. Develop a concept for an app for responding to road accidents.

3. Analysis of accident statistics in Russia for 2025

The overall picture across the country shows positive trends. All key
indicators have declined:
• Number of road accidents: 117,000 (-2.9%)
• Number of fatalities: 12,600 (-3.8%);
• Number of injured: 144,900 (-3.5%).

4. Survey on the main causes of road accidents in Russia for 2025

The main causes of accidents (according to drivers):
-Inattention (46% of respondents) – absentmindedness, distraction on the phone, fatigue.
-Traffic violations (44%) – non-compliance with
speed limits, distances, signs.
-Adverse weather conditions (37%) – rain, snow, ice.

Needs:
- Shock and inability to act.
- Automatic and instant call for help with
accurate geolocation.
- Errors when calling for help.
- Risk to life and health.
- Make a condition assessment, call
services.
- Technical support for communication in
case of poor signal or inability to speak
(for example, sending SMS data or via
satellite module).
