When I was younger, I really
enjoyed the books of the writer
Dmitry Yemets. His books are
easy to read and full of humor.
He is the author of many fantasy
works for children and young
adults.
My favorite book series is "Tanya
Grotter." The series began publishing in
2002. The first book was created as a
parody of "Harry Potter," but over time,
it developed its own unique storylines.
The author's use of Russian mythology
lends "Tanya Grotter" a special charm.

Currently, 16 books have been published.
• Tanya is an orphan whose parents died at the hands of the
sorceress Plague-del-Cake. She grew up with relatives. At
ten, she enters a school of magic, where she finds friends and
many adventures.
• These books teach friendship, responsibility, and the
importance of protecting loved ones.
