2. Corrections

1. Don’t cut all LVL beams for no reason. 32’ ok. Same for I-joists.
2. Posts don’t need to be PT inside house walls even when rest on PT sill plates
3. Beam sizes off. Anything over 8’ supporting floor load is LVL! Typically, flush with floor.

Baseboard for finished basement
Window casing for finished basement – not JAMB.
Don’t need crowns at basement unless big house with Playroom/Media room.
Don’t need crowns at closets. 2nd Floor crowns at Hall, Master Bdrm, Office, only for big WIC.
Watch for schedules and profiles. Copy pictures and reference.
Watch for casing band. Could be equal to casing or minus Sill line. Windows and Doors.
Any casing that are not standard, mark it. Below is casing 1x6 with Bead.
Base with Neck. Or just flat. Or could be custom

5. Interior continue

1. Watch Interior elevations. Paneling. Coffers ceiling.
2. Interior doors if NOT specified use 6’8” for 9’ ceiling and lower. 7’ for 10’ ceiling and 8’ for over 10’
ceiling. French doors at Office, Library. Always type door type specifications.
3. Add Exterior doors for Interstate Lumber and Florence! NOT window types (Marvin, Anderson,
Pella – usually NO for glass doors). Yes, for Wood entry doors and Doors with styles.

7. Drywall / Gypsum

1. Include walls in columns M!
2. Always review, especially with remodel.
Ceiling only where new frame above or anywhere where walls are moved. Kindo the same as you
determine SQ FT of work.
1. Don’t deduct durock from MR if MR doesn’t include shower line (already deducted)
2. Watch for ½” vs 5/8”
3. Watch for baths in basement. Add by hands and deduct from main counts.
4. Don’t add all gables! Only inside finished areas where vaulted rooms
5. Factor for Slopped ceilings.
6. Always review for walls you did not include in wall lines. Add numbers on the side so we can see what
is added.
7. Watch for one sides kneewalls – only half GWB apply.
