Volodymyr Bezruky – Ukrainian serviceman
and artist from Kalush.
He began to paint actively during the
Revolution of Dignity to capture the people he
stood next to on the Maidan.
After the Maidan, Volodymyr voluntarily joined
the ‘Donbas’ battalion, then served in the ‘Right
Sector’, the ‘OUN’ battalion and the 93rd
brigade.

Show All GalleryAfter completing combat missions,
hiding from enemy fire in one of the
buildings, Picasso, that was
Volodymyr's call sign, constantly drew –
destroyesd cities, brothers-in-arms,
civilians, volunteers etc. Unfortunately,
a lot of people Volodymyr painted are
no longer alive.
He drew on everything that came
across: ammunition boxes, doors from
destroyed houses, fragments of
wooden floors.

Vinnytsia, Kropyvnytskyi, etc.)
