1. Kok-Tobe is a mountain, 1100 meters
above sea level.

Almaty.
3. The name “Kok Tobe” in Kazakh
means “Green Hill”.
4. On the slopes of Kok-Tobe stands the
Almaty TV Tower, about 372 meters
tall.
5. A bronze statue monument to The
Beatles was installed in 2007.
6. There are many fun things: a Ferris
wheel, a mini-zoo, children’s
playgrounds, a restaurant shaped like
a traditional yurt, the “Fountain of
Desires” in the shape of an apple and
viewing platforms.
