This research focuses on the development and formal verification of latencyaware Virtual Network Function (VNF) placement strategies within Industrial
Internet of Things (IIoT) environments. By leveraging formal methods, the study
ensures that the placement algorithms meet strict latency requirements critical
for industrial applications. The work addresses challenges in optimizing VNF

This report presents a summary of my
internship experience at Uzinsurance, one of
Uzbekistan’s largest and most reputable
insurance companies. The internship offered
me valuable exposure to real-world business
operations and a deeper understanding of the
insurance industry, its processes, customer
engagement, and compliance standards.

5. Description of the Company / Institution


Uzinsurance (formerly known as JSC Uzagrosugurta) is a
state-owned joint-stock company that operates under the
supervision of the Agency for State Asset Management of
the Republic of Uzbekistan, which holds 99.47% of its
shares. The remaining 0.53% is distributed among minority
shareholders.
The company provides over 100 types of insurance products
for both individuals and businesses, covering all 17 classes of
general insurance. Uzinsurance has a wide presence across
Uzbekistan, operating through a network of about 1,000
insurance agents.

6. History


The company traces its roots back to 1921, when a state
monopoly on insurance services was established under
the USSR. It was officially founded as Uzagrosugurta on
February 25, 1997, by Presidential Decree No. 1713.
In 2021, the company underwent a transformation
process, aligning with national privatization reforms,
and rebranded as Uzinsurance. This transformation
emphasized
customer-centric
values
and
the
implementation of modern digital services.

As a service-based organization, Uzinsurance does not have a traditional
manufacturing process. However, the company’s core operations
include:

During my internship, I worked closely with the Customer
Service and Claims department. Key responsibilities included:
● Assisting with data entry and processing of insurance policies
● Supporting clients in understanding insurance terms and
documents
● Observing claims evaluation processes
● Attending internal team meetings and training sessions
● Participating in feedback analysis to improve customer
service

The internship lasted for 4 weeks, from May 1, 2025 to May 28,
2025, with full-time engagement during standard working
hours (Monday to Friday).

My internship at Uzinsurance was a highly valuable and
insightful experience. It gave me practical exposure to the
insurance industry and broadened my understanding of how
large financial organizations operate. The company’s strong
corporate culture, client-first approach, and emphasis on
transparency and reliability make it a model institution in the
Uzbek financial sector.
I am confident that the knowledge and skills I gained during
this internship will benefit me in my future career and help
me pursue further professional growth in the insurance or
financial services industries.
