Heated hose Rio
Goals of the development
Rio was developed together with the Twist jetting
head. It is the first hose-head pairing in the market,
which is connected by a plug-in coupling and inline
filter.
Thanks to the smart plug-in coupling, the cold spot
between the heated hose and jetting head can be
prevented.
The Rio combines proven technology with new
approaches.
Together with the Easy melter and the jetting head
Twist, the three components form the EasyLine –
Gluing made simple!

Detached solenoid valve of the application
head can be magnetically fixed at two
positions, depending on the position of the
jetting head.
If the jetting head is positioned at an
intermediate angle, the pneumatic
couplings on the solenoid valve can be
interchanged (straight and 45° angle). This
reduces the stress on the pneumatic hose
and protects it from damage.

Components
Compatibility with Robatech products
On the device side:
The Rio heated hose is screwed on the device side as standard (1/4”) and is therefore 100% compatible
mechanically and electrically with existing Robatech adhesive melters.
On the application head side:
The Rio heated hose has a plug coupling on the application head side, which differs mechanically from the
familiar PrimeConnect (see product structure H111 Performa). The adhesive filter is fitted in the heated
hose end. This means that the Rio heated hose can only be used in conjunction with compatible EasyLine
application heads. Rio and Enduro heated hoses cannot be converted to the other heated hose type.
