Terms of Service (TOS) for Art
Commissions
These terms govern the process of
commissioning artwork from [Your

commissioning art, you agree to the
terms outlined below.

Ownership and Copyright
• - All artwork created remains the intellectual
property of the artist.
• - The client receives a personal, nontransferable license for use of the artwork.
• - Artwork may not be altered, redistributed, or
sold without the artist’s permission.

3.

Payment
• - All commissions require a 50% upfront
payment to start.
• - Remaining 50% is due upon completion,
before the final artwork is delivered.
• - Payments are accepted via [PayPal, bank
transfer, etc.].
• - Refunds are not available after the work has
begun unless the artist cannot complete the
commission.

4.

Timeline
• - Estimated time for completion will be
discussed before starting.
• - Delays may occur due to personal reasons,
but the client will be notified.
• - Rush orders may require additional fees and
are subject to availability.

5.

Revisions
• - The client is entitled to [X] revisions.
• - Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Cancellation and Refunds

in their portfolio or social media unless
otherwise requested.

Agreement
• - By commissioning the artwork, the client
agrees to the terms outlined above.
• - If any disputes arise, both parties will aim for
a fair resolution.
• - This TOS is subject to change, and the
updated version will be shared with clients.
