The main idea of the novelThe main idea of the novel “The brothers Karamazov” lies
in the fact, that despite all the depravity of the main

My favourite part of the books tells that people can’t comprehend freedom and always try toescape it…
-The dialogue between The Pope and Jesus Christ takes place in
prison, the Pope says to Jesus Christ that people are not ready to
accept freedom.
-The Pope says that people are not able to
comprehend freedom, that people are afraid of
freedom. He says that there is nothing more
unbearable for people and society than freedom.
-The Pope says that he denies the idea of
freedom for the sake oh people’s happiness,
additionally, he says that people eagerly do it
themselves.

Personally, I like the novel, to my mind it is rife with wise thoughts andideas. It reveals both disgrace, despair, vulgarity, vulnerability and
depravity of people. Apart from it, it reveals people’s deeper feelings,
sadness, anxieties and disappointments…
I like the idea, that all people have chance to change and live
happily, Dostoyevsky believes that everyone has a right for
love and forgiveness
