Operational Squence
Case-1 – Find TD with statically overbalanced mud.
Case-2 – Find TD with statically underbalanced mud w/ SBP
1. Circulate hole clean
1. Circulate hole clean
2. POOH w/ drilling BHA to casing shoe.
2. POOH w/ drilling BHA to above BOP while MPD holding X psi SBP w/boost pump
3. Flow check inside casing shoe
3. Close BSR while MPD holding X psi SBP w/ boost pump to trap pressure under
BOP
4. Take bearing out at casing shoe
5. Cont. POOH to surface
6. Proceed with MPD & WL Rig up as per procedure
7. RIH with WL tools
4. Boost pump off
5. Conventional flow check above BOP
6. Take bearing out above BOP
7. Cont. POOH to surface
8. Proceed with MPD & WL Rig up as per procedure
** Indeed well is full with overbalanced mud, with the temperature effect at bottomhole,
mud can become underbalanced in certain time. Therefore, BSR needs to be closed in
anytime during rig up MPD & WL. If this happens MPD will pressurize riser prior to
opening BSR.
9. Boost pump on to pressurize riser prior to opening BSR.
** If BSR will be closed by client decision, SICP needs to monitored and MPD needs to
equalize riser pressure with this value prior to opening BSR.

Discussion
MW inside the wellbore? UB or OB.
Work above SSBOP while BSR is closed?
WL stack needs to be confirmed.
Is it possible the PT system while BSR is closed?
What would be WL Trip Speed incase WL needs to POOH immediately?
What would be the swab effect of WL tools? (Will be used to determine SBP while WL POOH.)
How do MDT seals work? Is it possible to read or determine pressure between bottomhole and under the
seal?
• If in any case the BSR is closed while the WL tools are in the well, What will fishing strategy be?
• Possible usage of Downhole Deployment Valve (DDV)
