Assessment methods
The final grade for the course in percentage is determined by the formula:
F% = R1 + R2 х 0,6 + E х 0,4

R1 - the percentage of the 1st rating, R2 - the percentage of the 2nd rating,
E - the percentage of the examination mark.
Control types of student’s progress:
Current control – combined.
Midterm control (R1) - combined; Endterm control (R 2) – combined.
If according to MT-1 a student gets less than 25 points (25%), then he/she
does not receive admission to the final exam

4.

Research project on history of Kazakhstan (ROS)
Purpose: introduction of information and communication technologies into
the learning process
Tasks:
-Creation of conditions for creative self-realization of students;
-Development of corporate culture skills among students
- Visiting museums:
1.National Museum (in the 3rd week (Entrance to the museum is paid)).
2. Military History Museum (in the fourth week (free)).
3. Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (on the 9th
week (free)).
- Visual acquaintance with the historical heritage of the Great Steppe.
-Analytical work with museum exhibits and the use of museum sources in
the preparation of a Research Video Presentation.

Requirements for working with research project:
-Team of three or four students.
-Participants must be from the same study group.
-The contribution of the participants to the project
must be equal.
- Mandatory participation in the defense of a research
project, cancellation of the assessment in the absence
of defense without a good reason.
- For violation of the deadline - minus 10 points.

Requirements for a research project’s video:
-Video duration: minimum 4 min., and maximum 5-6 min.;
- correspondence of the video to the chosen topic;
-design;
Video presentations that offend the dignity and feelings of other people, violate the
corporate culture, and do not correspond to the chosen topic are not accepted.
Structure of research project’s video presentation:
