Initiatives:
IBA decision on participation of boxers from Russia and Belarus in IBA
competitions with their flags and anthems;
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the United Nations
Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) on diplomacy in the
context of the Sustainable Development Goals and new sports
competitions under the patronage of the UN (United Nations);
Contract of cooperation signed with the Instituto Superior de Derecho y
Economía (ISDE) – launch of a groundbreaking international training
initiative for retired athletes – "Sports Management";
The Convention of Cooperation was signed with the International
Council of Military Sports (CISM);
Establishment of large-scale prize money for boxers at World and
Continental Boxing Championships and IBA Champions' Night;
Launch of annual funding program: Financial support of National
Federations – IBA members;
The Fair Chance Team is launched as part of IBA's Social Development
Program to give every boxer a fair chance and a fair fight. The project
aims to support talented boxers who are unable to be in or represent
their home countries for various humanitarian reasons;
One of the initiators of World Frienship Games and co-founder of
International Friendship Association;
Opening of International Boxing Centre together with Russian
President Vladimir Putin.
