TMC partners with large companies and corporations for
student practice. Students have the opportunity to practice in
leading companies and even get paid for their jobs.

NO SMOKING POLICY
• Staff or Students may report anyone caught smoking
within the campus to the 1st Floor Reception
Counter.
• Offenders will be fined and can be subject to
expulsion from the institute.

students from 9:00 to 18:00.

STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY
• Check online timetable regularly (lms.tmci.uz) –
For last-minute changes, you will be informed via
phone.
• Check emails regularly – for information on
upcoming events, reminders of fees, and others.
• Payment of fees – Please refer to the offer letter
and student contract. You will be barred from
attending classes until the outstanding payment is
cleared.

STUDENT’S ATTENDANCE
Attendance is marked every day via FACE ID;
All students must attend at least 80% of
classes.
For attendance below 80%, you CANNOT sit
for examination

STUDENT’S ABSENTEEISM
• Valid reasons for absence
– Medical grounds
– Bereavement of parents, spouse, children
• Written notification must be given to the school not later
than 3 working days after the date of absence.
• Students who are absent for 3 consecutive days may
face expulsion.

WARNING LETTERS
• Warning letters will be issued for attendance that falls
below the minimum rate.
⮚ Your parents or guardian will be informed
⮚ If no improvement after counseling, student may face
expulsion

STUDENT MOVEMENT
• If you are not able to follow the standard course
schedule, you may request for :
Class Transfer/ Course intermission/ change of
course/ course withdrawal
• Please address the Student Service Unit for
assistance. You will need to complete a form. No
verbal notice will be accepted.
• All student movement requests will be
processed within 3 working days.

• Operating hours
▪ 8:00 to 20:00 (Monday to Friday)
▪ Saturday, Sunday, and PH (Closed)
• Basic rules of keeping silent in the library
• Lost books must be replaced with the same subject
area + all accumulated overdue fines must be settled
– Exam results and certificates will be withheld until
overdue and lost books are settled and fines are
cleared.

No short mini skirts
No singlets (undershirts, tank tops)
No low-cut tops
No sneakers, slippers and ripped jeans

Do NOT disturb other people;
Turn mobile phones off during class;
Do NOT use during class;
In case of confiscation of your device, it will be
given to the SSU Head of Department.

EXAMINATION INFORMATION
Tests, assignments, and other assessments are to be submitted by the
end week before the Exam. Check with your lecturers for the dates of
these assessments.
Re-sit Coursework/ Examinations
- Students who have attempted all assessment components and
fail, are given a re-sit attempt to pass the components.
- Re-sit fee applies (600 000 UZS per module)
Re-module
- If a student fails to register and pay, or fails the re-sit attempt, will
have to repeat the module again.
- Re-module fee applies (7 200 000 UZS per module)

EXAMINATION INFORMATION
• Your results will be released online via the student portal
(lms.tmci.uz) after each term. You will be notified of the result release
details via email.
• It is important to keep TMC updated on your email address.
• All written assignments are submitted to TURNITIN.COM before the
deadline. Late submission will lead to a points deduction.
• Plagiarism rate cannot exceed 20 %

CERTIFICATES AND TRANSCRIPTS
• Transcript
– You are able to collect your final transcript about 1 – 1.5 month
after the result release of your final examination session.
• Certificate
– Your certificate will only be released during the annual
Graduation Ceremony which is normally held in October or
November each year.
