"dishdasha." This long robe

hot desert climate.

a head covering known
as the "ghutrah" or
"keffiyeh," which is
secured in place by an
"agal." The agal is a
black cord-like circlet
that helps keep the
headscarf in position
and can also indicate
the wearer's tribal
affiliation.

including rings,
watches, and
cufflinks, which are
often luxurious and

symbols.
