The main attraction in London is Buckingham Palace, which has been theresidence of the royal family of Great Britain since the first day of its
foundation.

Construction historyBuckingham Palace was built in 1703 for John Sheffield, Duke of
Buckingham, a famous statesman of England.

A little later, King George III bought all the premises and a huge areaaround. In 1762, he completed the palace, adding to its splendor and
sophistication worthy of monarchs.

On the facade there is the very famous balconyfrom where the British monarchs greet their
subjects.

Throne RoomHere you will not find a throne, only two royal chairs with the initials of
