What is a hobby? It’s what you like to do in your spare time. We choose
hobbies according to our tastes. Hobbies make your life more interesting
and exciting. Very often our hobbies help us to choose our future
professions because we learn a lot of new things.

Having a hobby is
not only interesting,
but also useful.

Many people are interested in music.
They collect various records.

gardens and others take photographs or knit.

most common hobby among Englishmen.

As for me my hobby is reading books. I
usually like to read various books in the
evening.

I like adventure books. My favorite
book is «Treasure Island» written by
Robert Lewis Stevenson. I like this
book because it describes various
adventures in different places: on
the lands, on islands, in the sea.
The main characters of this book
are Jim Hawkins, doctor Livesey,
Squire Trelawney. They often get
into trouble, sometimes their
adventures are dangerous and
they cannot get out of the danger
safely. There are a lot of fights with
pirates in that book . The main task
of the main characters is to find
and get treasures.
