This is the first lion park in Europe that has never been
built here before. About 60 African lions live freely on
more than 30 hectares of the Crimean foothills. Lions
parks are not uncommon for the countries of Africa, they
exist in Tanzania, Kenya, but to create such a park in a
luxurious place of the Crimea, near the picturesque
reservoir «Taigan», in honor of which the park is named,
was a new and fresh idea. It took a lot of effort to build a
lion park. Animals have been collected from various zoo
collections in Russia, Ukraine, Europe for more than five
years, and some have been specially brought from the
Republic of South Africa, as, for example, unique white
lions that are not present in any CIS zoo.

Visitors to the park can see lions in the natural environment of the
Crimea. At the same time, visitors are on safety specially equipped
bridges located above the territory with lions. The view bridges over the
safari park are more than 1 km long. It should be noted that lions lead a
free way of life, and naturally can hide in the heat more often, be invisible
from the observation bridges, etc.
