Top managers are senior managers who direct and control activities of the organization. These
are President, vice president, chief executive Officer and Board members. Middle managers
develop tactical plans, policies and coordinate the activities of first-level managers. First-line
managers coordinate and control the activities of operational employees.

Operational employees are not managers. These are qualified
and unskilled persons working in the organization.
