1. INTRODUCTION
1.1
PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to build an online betting prediction aggregation solution that
will provide greater insight allowing sports betters to make better informed decisions thus
increasing a bettors win rate when betting on sports.
1.2
INTENDED AUDIENCE
The initial mvp will look to service those that place bets on sports. The initial offering will focus
on refining the value proposition focused on the NHL. Once the offering is solidified using
hockey data, other sporting leagues will be added (NBA, NFL, NCAA, MLB).

PROJECT SCOPE
The purpose of BettersEdge is to create a convenient and easy to use application for sports
betters to access relevant sports related information that is aggregated from multiple sources
in order to make a better-informed betting decision.

PRODUCT FEATURES
The major features of the online betting prediction aggregation solution is to provide real time
data such as team updates, odds, this data is then collected, aggregated and in a centralized,
personalized and tailored format. Additional features will include:
• Building unlimited betting scenarios (individual bets as well as parlays);
• The ability to store and assess cumulative personal wagers on bets made (and those
wagers contemplated);
• Track, monitor and store the ongoing success rate (win/loss) of the 5 prediction sites
that provide picks;
• Will provide daily “Best Bet” recommendations based upon collected data and
analysis;
• Clients will subscribe to this service based upon various options: a daily subscription
($7.99USD), Monthly ($89.95USD), Quarterly ($229.95USD) or Yearly ($549.95USD)
commitment.
